South Scottsdale Player Scholarship Program
To aid parents who may need assistance with registration fees, South Scottsdale Little League has a comprehensive player scholarship program that covers the following areas:

· Full scholarships that cover all registration fees;

· Partial scholarships that cover a portion of the registration fees;

· Assistance with uniforms and equipment needs that are required to be a part of the team and participate in baseball.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a scholarship, the following information must be provided to South Scottsdale Little League

· A completed Full and Partial Fee Scholarship Application;

· Proof of Residency-  indicating that the player(s) reside(s) within South Scottsdale;

· Proof of age - indicating that the player(s) meet(s) Little League requirements in order to play;

· South Scottsdale Little League Volunteer form for parent or legal guardian.

How to Apply for a Scholarship
The scholarship request process is very straightforward. To ensure proper due diligence, every scholarship request is examined and assessed on its own merit.

1.  Once the Full and Partial Fee Scholarship Application has been submitted, the South Scottsdale Little League Board of Directors will review the request;
2.  The Scholarship Review Period can take up to 21 days to complete -

· Within 5 Days: The Player Agent will respond indicating the application has been received, and request additional info if needed

· Within 21 Days: The Board of Directors will respond via e-mail with a decision on the application

Volunteer Requirements for Scholarships

1.  Full Scholarship (per child) - 6 evenings volunteering in the concession stand or participate in field maintenance, umpiring or score-keeping.
2. Partial Scholarship (per child) - 3 evenings volunteering in the concession stand or participate in field maintenance, umpiring or score-keeping.

Terms and Conditions
If the scholarship request is approved, the following terms and conditions will apply:

1.  The scholarship covers the registration fees only for one season in all or in part;
2.  The player must be registered and meet all residence and proof of age requirements (all required documents must be verified).
3.  All information contained within the application is strictly confidential and access will be limited only to Members of the South Scottsdale Little League Board of Directors.

South Scottsdale Little League is honored to be sponsored by Jason's Propulsion League, a non-profit organization created to honor the memory of Jason's love of baseball. The corporation provides for underprivileged children to play youth baseball by providing all fees, equipment and uniforms. All children who show a passion to play should not be denied because, of financial circumstance. In this, Jason lives on by bringing the magic of baseball through his charity to those that love the game.
